How do I create a Group?

From the main menu (located at the bottom), select Groups (Fourth button on the right). A new screen loads. Click the + Add button,. Complete the required fields and click the SAVE button. A popup shall appear confirming the group was created.

How do I remove a contact?

There are two ways to do this.

You can do this from your My contacts list. To access, go to your profile settings by pressing the circle or profile picture on the top right of the screen. Select Profile Overview. Select My contacts. Select the contact you want to remove, and slide to the left. A remove button will appear. Press the remove button. Confirm you’re sure and the contact is removed.

You can also do this when receiving an event. If the invitation is unwanted, press and hold down the NOPE button and a Remove x from contacts button will appear. Press this button, and confirm you’re sure. Both the invitation will be declined and contact removed.

Why can’t I see my top friends?

Go to your My contacts via your profile. You can do this from your My contacts list. To access, go to your profile settings by pressing the circle or profile picture on the top right of the screen. Select Profile Overview. Select My contacts. Then click the TOP button near the top of the screen, to to view your top friends. If none are present, you can add them here.

Where can I see an event I created?

From the main menu, select events (Second button to the right). This will load your events, you can also view invitations from Event Invites tab from the top.

Why can’t I see my calendar when setting up? There are many reasons why this may occur. Typically this relates to your calendar not being shared with your phone. If it’s not shared with your phone, Penpa won’t be able to see it. Look for your phone below and relevant mailbox for possible solutions: Android Microsoft Outlook / Office 365 / Hotmail / Live
  1. Open the Outlook app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click Account Info.
  4. Enable Sync Calendars.
  5. A popup may appear, click Allow.
Account Deletion To delete your account, there are two ways of starting the process. If you have access to the Penpa mobile app, follow these steps:
  1. Login with the account you want to remove.
  2. Select your profile from the top right circle / profile picture.
  3. Click Account settings
  4. Scroll down to and press Delete account – [WARNING!!] This option may commence immediately and your data cannot be retrieved.
  5. Confirm you wish to remove your account and your account deletion request will be processed.
If you cannot login to the mobile app, follow these steps:
  1. Email our tech support at support@penpa.app with the subject ‘Account deletion request’.
  2. Tech support will respond with further instructions to verify you’re the owner of the account and will delete the account accordingly.
